What Upper Limb and Neck Pain?
Causes of Upper Limb and Neck Pain
Upper limb and neck pain can result from different factors. Often, it’s related to repetitive activities or overuse of the arms and shoulders, such as in desk jobs or sports. Poor posture, especially when using electronic devices for extended periods, can also contribute to neck pain. Injuries, like strains or sprains, can cause acute pain in these areas. Additionally, underlying medical conditions like arthritis, nerve compression, or herniated discs may lead to chronic pain.
Types of Pain
Pain in the upper limb and neck can be categorized as acute or chronic. Acute pain is sudden and often occurs after an injury or overexertion. Chronic pain persists for a longer duration and can be linked to ongoing health conditions or repetitive strain.
